Next date: Wednesday, 25 February 2026 | 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Numbers-1

In 2026, the City of Whittlesea, a Business Friendly Council, is bringing a four-part series of financial workshops exclusive to Whittlesea Business Network members.

The first workshop, Understanding your numbers, has been designed for local business by a local business. If your business is up and running, but the numbers still feel a little confusing, this workshop is for you.

We’ll break down which numbers matter, where to find them (like your Profit & Loss, balance sheet, and cash flow), in a way that actually makes sense—so you can make smarter, more deliberate decisions around growth, and profitability.

Understanding your numbers is a practical, two-hour workshop designed specifically for business owners who want to build financial stability and avoid common pitfalls.

Participants will walk away with:

  • Monthly report reading habits
  • Identifying trends in revenue and costs
  • Understanding assets, liabilities & equity
  • Spotting red flags early.

Places are limited to 25 - Reserve your spot today!

Note: This is exclusive. Attending requires a free City of Whittlesea Business Network membership (the workshop itself has a fee).

You don’t need to be a member prior to registering for this workshop, but by registering you are agreeing to become a member, and is a condition of attending this workshop.

See Whittlesea Business Network here for terms and conditions (T&C). Within the T&C is businesses must:

1a) hold a valid ABN,

1b) be located in the City of Whittlesea.

5) agree to the full Terms and Conditions at the time of application.
