International Volunteers Day

You are invited to International Volunteers Day

To mark International Volunteer Day, the City of Whittlesea’s Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC PYP) team is hosting an event to recognise volunteers’ contributions, celebrate the value of volunteering, and encourage greater community participation. The event will bring people together to share their experiences, from both the giving and receiving perspectives, and showcase the meaningful impact of volunteering.

The event will feature a presentation on volunteering and HACC PYP social connection programs, followed by a lunch, providing an opportunity to connect with fellow volunteers and community members.

A special performance by our talented youth band artists will add to the celebration as we come together to mark International Volunteer Day.

Everyone is welcome. If you are a volunteer, interested in volunteering or celebrate volunteering.
