About the speaker: Lisa Gorman

Lisa Gorman founded the Gorman brand in 1999, as a one-woman operation from a share house with her sewing machine.

Holding down two additional jobs over the next five years was about more than funding her start-up; it was also a time to explore different career options and test her craft as a business concept.

These projects led to ideas and activities around working together as a community, to celebrate diversity and learn in interesting and unique ways.

After 23 years at the helm of the Gorman brand, Lisa moved on to pursue other passions, including sculpture, a research project and yoga teaching. In 2023, Lisa stepped into the role of creative director at kikki.K.

Lisa’s story is one of creativity, resilience and visionary leadership – invaluable lessons for anyone looking to elevate their business and professional network.

Lisa will share how collaboration powered the success of her iconic Gorman brand and how this approach continues to drive innovation and authenticity in her role at kikki.K.
