Guided bike ride tour - 1 October

Local families can kick start Biketober challenge with an easy and fun beginner ride in South Morang in collaboration with Whittlesea Bicycle Users Group (BUG).

There will be two guided bike ride tours: A family ride with children welcome to participate, and a general adult ride. See the details below.

Family ride with kids 

This guided bike tour will be led by Mara who is an accredited riding instructor and can give you and your younger ones some tips to make riding your bike a little easier. During this ride riders will head over to the local lake to enjoy the swans and other birds before stopping for a hot chocolate at St Ivy’s Cafe. 

General adult ride  

The Whittlesea Bicycle Users Group (BUG) will lead this ride in a pleasant local loop on the shared user paths finishing off with a coffee at the end of the ride. It will be approximately 15-18kms ride with relaxed pace.
