If you would like to support fire-affected communities, you can donate to the 2026 Victorian Bushfire Appeal.

If you would like to donate non-perishable food or essential items, the following organisations are accepting donations:

Donation locations

Whittlesea Neighbourhood House

  • Address: 92A Church St, Whittlesea

Whittlesea Community Connections

  • Address: Whittlesea Food Collective, Corner of Dalton Road and Cooper Street, Epping (Building D)
  • Drop off times: Tuesdays and Fridays, 9am–11.30am

Items currently accepted

Collecting the following items for food hampers:

Staple foods

  • Long-life milk (1L cartons – dairy and plant-based)
  • Rice (1–2kg bags)
  • Pasta (500g–1kg)
  • Dry noodles
  • Flour (1–2kg)
  • Cooking oil (500ml–1L)
  • Sugar (1kg)

Proteins

  • Tinned tuna, salmon or sardines
  • Tinned beans, lentils and chickpeas
  • Tinned meats (e.g. chicken)

Meal bases and pantry essentials

  • Pasta sauces
  • Tinned vegetables
  • Tinned fruit
  • Soup (tinned or packet)
  • Stock cubes or liquid stock
  • Instant mashed potato

Breakfast, spreads and drinks

  • Cereal
  • Oats
  • Spreads (e.g. jam, peanut butter, Vegemite or similar)
  • Tea
  • Coffee (instant or ground)
  • Snacks
  • Muesli bars
  • Long-life fruit cups

Drinks

  • Bottled Water (individual bottles or small packs preferred)

Pet food

  • Dry or tinned dog food
  • Dry or tinned cat food
    (Please no opened bags or specialty/vet-only diets)

Items not currently accepted

Please do not donate:

  • Toiletries or hygiene items (WCC is currently well-stocked)
  • Meals (WCC is well-stocked)
  • Fresh, homemade or perishable items

For businesses wanting to help

Bulk food donations or financial contributions to disaster relief funds are the most helpful at this time.
