Young Women’s Leadership Program 16 Days of Activism Event

City of Whittlesea Youth Services Young Women’s Leadership Program (YWLP) participants will be hosting a youth-led stall to raise awareness and spark conversations in support of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Campaign. 

They’ve been learning about advocacy, gender equity, and respectful relationships- and now they’re taking their leadership to the community.

What’s happening on the day?
- Free snacks + giveaways
-  Info flyers and support resources
-  A display of decorated t-shirts and tote bags created to honour the campaign
-  Conversations led by our amazing young women about the importance of ending gender-based violence
