The Emergency Relief Centre at the Whittlesea Community Activity Centre has now closed. An information centre is open at Yea Community Centre, 15 The Semi Circle, Yea and Yarck Public Hall, 6583 Maroondah Highway, Yarck.
Tuesday 27 January has been declared a day of Total Fire Ban for the whole State of Victoria. This means no fires can be lit or be allowed to remain alight in the open air from 12:01am until 11:59pm.
