The Emergency Relief Centre at the Whittlesea Community Activity Centre has now closed. An information centre is open at Yea Community Centre, 15 The Semi Circle, Yea and Yarck Public Hall, 6583 Maroondah Highway, Yarck.

Saturday 24 January has been declared a day of Total Fire Ban for the whole State of Victoria. This means that no fires can be lit or be allowed to remain alight in the open air from 12:01 AM until 11:59 PM.
