Women of Wit brings a night of stand-up comedy to PRACC

Published on 01 October 2026

Four of the country’s sharpest comedians will take to the stage at Plenty Ranges Arts & Convention Centre (PRACC) on Saturday 31 October, as Women of Wit take over the venue.

Presented in partnership with Comedy Victoria, Women of Wit has championed new, emerging and established women in stand-up comedy since 2018. Audiences get to see both familiar faces and the next generation of comedic talent on one bill.

The 2026 PRACC lineup features Alex Ward (Have You Been Paying Attention?), Urvi Majumdar (Guy Montgomery’s Spelling Bee), RAW Comedy alum Freddie Arthur, and Tor Snyder, a Canadian who’s full of “a whole lot of sass and a whole lot of crass”. Each brings her own distinct comedy style to the evening.

Part of the PRACC Performance Season 2026, the show gives residents in Melbourne’s north the chance to see high-calibre comedy close to home, without the trip into the city. Grab some friends this Halloween and settle in for a night of laughs that’ll have you howling.
