Ferres Boulevard active travel infrastructure upgrades

Work in progress

We’re upgrading walking and cycling connections in South Morang to create a safer and more connected local path network.

About the project

The Ferres Boulevard Active Travel Infrastructure Upgrades project will improve shared path connections along Ferres Boulevard and Findon Road in South Morang.

The works will make it safer and easier for people to walk and ride in the area, while filling a missing link in the existing path network.

What’s happening

The project includes:

  • Constructing approximately 340 metres of new 3-metre-wide shared path along the southern side of Findon Road, between Civic Drive and Ferres Boulevard
  • Upgrading approximately 485 metres of shared path along the west side of Ferres Boulevard, between McDonalds Road and Findon Road (2.5 - 3 metres wide)
