The Civic Centre and Whittlesea Service Hub will close at 2pm on 24 December and will reopen on Monday 5 January. Phone services will remain available from 29 to 31 December and 2 January.
Due to the Christmas and New Year public holidays, some bin collections will be delayed. Between Thursday 25 December and Friday 2 January bins that are normally collected on Thursdays and Fridays will be collected one day later.
Note: November sessions for the Children Learn to Ride program are now booked out. There will be additional sessions held in February 2026.
These riding lessons are designed for children aged 5 to 12 years who cannot yet ride a bike but would like to learn, or for novice riders with basic skills who would like to improve their confidence.
A series of 4 weekly sessions after school hours will support your child to increase their cycling skills. The program is set to deliver after-school bike lessons on Fridays, lasting 50-60 minutes.

Bring your own bike in good working order and a helmet.
If you do not own a bike, a refurbished bike can be supplied at an additional cost.
