This powerful exhibition shows what homelessness looks like in Victoria today and how we can end it.

Many people associate homelessness with male rough sleepers. But nearly 60% of people coming to Victorian homelessness services last year were women.

This exhibition, which is currently touring Victoria, gives you the chance to follow the journeys of three of these women, to understand more about what it's like to navigate homelessness and housing insecurity.

At this event, which marks closing night of the exhibition at Mill Park Library, you can:

  • walk through a moving display of stories and portraits that showcase the resilience of women navigating housing insecurity
  • join a conversation with lived experience advocates, service providers, local MPs, and fellow community members about local challenges and the evidence-backed solutions that can end homelessness for good
  • learn about simple ways you can support change at a local level.

You'll hear from panellists and community voices including:

  • The Hon Lily D'Ambrosio MP, Member for Mill Park
  • Ginette Beguely, Community Help Team Leader, Whittlesea Community Connections
  • Sharon Villanueva, Assertive Outreach Coordinator, MOSS
  • Riva Alice, Acting Head of Client Care, Haven Home Safe
  • and a lived experience advocate.
