Endorsed Development Plans

Residential, retail and commercial growth is expected to continue particularly in the University Hill development.

University Hill contains:

  • over 130 national and international businesses
  • over 1,500 employees
  • over 100 retailers and big name brands at the Uni Hill Factory Outlet (UHFO) and the Town Centre, including a supermarket, bank, post office, cafés/restaurants, and a fitness facility

A development plan has been created for the Aurora estate in Epping North, which covers the area bound by O'Herns Road, Craigieburn Road and the Hume Freeway (Craigieburn Bypass) to the west.

The Greenhills Road Development Plan shows the proposed development for the following land parcels in Thomastown/Bundoora:

  • 182 Greenhills Road, Thomastown
  • 167 Plenty Road, Bundoora
  • 214W Greenhills Road, Bundoora
  • 172 Greenhills Road, Thomastown (part)

The plan includes:

  • location of future housing developments
  • pedestrian friendly streetscapes
  • road connections
  • public open spaces

Future development of the land will be delivered generally in accordance with this plan.
