Have your say on Lauries Field draft master plan
Published on 29 July 2025
A draft master plan for Lauries Field in Doreen was endorsed for community consultation at the Council Meeting on Tuesday 22 July.
The draft 10-year plan outlines a range of proposed upgrades designed to make the reserve safer and more welcoming for everyone.
This includes better lighting, renewed entrances, improved paths, new play and fitness areas, shelters, seating, and a restored wetland to protect the natural environment and make visits more enjoyable.
Community feedback has been instrumental in shaping the draft plan, helping to identify key priorities and opportunities for improvement.
Local residents and visitors to the area are invited to view the draft master plan and have your say on the proposed upgrades before the plan is finalised and presented for Council endorsement in late 2025.
To have your say on the draft master plan, visit the Engage Whittlesea website. You can complete a short survey or come along to an in-person pop-up session.
Consultation is open from 24 July to 22 August 2025.
The 10-year draft master plan’s proposed works are subject to future funding.
