Notice of intention to acquire

Whittlesea City Council declares that by this notice it acquired the following interest in the following properties:

• The land known as Lot K on Plan of Subdivision 649415A, being the land contained in Certificate of Title Volume 11280 Folio 304 and situated at 85M Bassetts Road, Doreen Vic 3754 as shown hatched on the plan below; and
• The land known as Lot B on Plan of Subdivision 645338N, being the land contained in Certificate of Title Volume 11428 Folio 777 and situated at 51A Cookes Road, Doreen Vic 3754 as shown hatched on the plan below. 

Interest acquired: That of Bassetts Road Project Pty Ltd (as registered proprietors of 85M Bassetts Rd, Doreen) and Dacland Project Management 1 Pty Ltd (as registered proprietors of 51A Cookes Rd, Doreen) and all other interests.  

The acquisition is made pursuant to section 112 of the Local Government Act 2020 for the purpose of conservation management of the sites.

A notice of intention to acquire the interest in the land was served on 15^th of August 2025 for 51A Cookes Road, Doreen and on 30^th of March 2026 for 85M Bassetts Road, Doreen.
