The Civic Centre and Whittlesea Service Hub will close at 2pm on 24 December and will reopen on Monday 5 January. Phone services will remain available from 29 to 31 December and 2 January.
Due to the Christmas and New Year public holidays, some bin collections will be delayed. Between Thursday 25 December and Friday 2 January bins that are normally collected on Thursdays and Fridays will be collected one day later.

If you love animals, you won't want to miss the City of Whittlesea's second annual Pet Expo.
Taking place as part of our vibrant Community Festival on Sunday 17 March, the Pet Expo will feature stalls and performances tailored to all your pet-related needs and curiosities.
City of Whittlesea Chair Administrator Lydia Wilson said pets play a vital role in the lives of our residents, improving wellbeing and taking their place as important members of the family.
“Our pets are a beloved part of our family, and we know from the positive feedback we received after last year’s inaugural Pet Expo that this feature of our Community Festival is sure to be a popular place for pet lovers,” Lydia said.
Set within a sprawling 50-meter fenced area of the Community Festival, the Pet Expo will be a bustling hub of pet-centric activities and information, including:
The City of Whittlesea’s Animal Management team will also be on-site, ready to answer your questions including guidance on pet registration, microchipping, and checks, and strategies for cat management and innovative cat enclosure solutions.
“In addition to the jam-packed Pet Expo, there is so much to see and do at the Community Festival, from performers live on stage, free family activities and the announcement of the recipients of our Community Awards,” said Lydia.
