Smooth 70s sounds head to PRACC for the next Morning Melodies

Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre (PRACC) will turn back the clock to the smooth, sun-soaked sounds of the 1970s this August, with acclaimed cabaret duo Melissa Langton and Mark Jones headlining the next instalment of the venue’s popular Morning Melodies series.

Billed as the ‘Captain and Tennille of Australian Cabaret’, Langton and Jones will take audiences on a toe-tapping journey through one of pop’s most cherished decades, performing an avalanche of easy listening hits from The Carpenters, ABBA, Olivia Newton-John, Peter Allen, Carole King, Billy Joel and Barbra Streisand.

Morning Melodies gives the local community an easy, welcoming way to enjoy live a performance during the day, without the need for an evening outing. Come along on Monday 24 August for an hour of easy listening favourites, offering you the chance to relax, reminisce and sing along.
