The City of Whittlesea has upgraded the off-leash dog park in the Whittlesea Public Gardens to improve safety, comfort and usability for dog owners and their pets.
The upgrade includes new infrastructure, improved landscaping and better park features to enhance the experience for visitors.
The upgrade was made possible through a grant from the Victorian Government’s New and Upgraded Dog Park Program, supplemented by funding from the City of Whittlesea.
This upgrade focused on the dog park itself; broader amenities and car parking are part of the overall Whittlesea Public Gardens redevelopment.
