About the plan

The proposed Aurora South Precinct Plan applies to the land at 180N, 188M and 200 O’Herns Road, Epping.

The proposed precinct plan will guide the future use and development of the land for commercial, retail, mixed use and medium/high density residential land uses.

What the plan does

The preparation of a precinct plan is a requirement in accordance with the Development Plan Overlay (Schedule 23) in the Whittlesea Planning Scheme.

It includes text and plan components and provides for a road layout and future development, including the South Town Centre comprising of commercial, retail, mixed use and medium/high density residential land uses.

Exhibition of the plan

As part of a non-statutory exhibition process, the proposed Aurora South Precinct Plan is being referred to potentially affected property owners/occupiers and relevant Government agencies. 

The precinct plan is being exhibited from 8 January 2026 to 5 February 2026.
