Banksia Palliative Care

Banksia Palliative Care Service is a not-for-profit organisation that provides expert palliative care support at no cost to our clients or their carers.

As the sole Victorian Government-funded community palliative care service for the 3 local government areas of Banyule, Nillumbik and Whittlesea, we provide free home-based, person-centred palliative care for anyone in these areas, living with a progressive terminal illness.

All of our services, which include medical and nursing care, assorted allied health supports and volunteers are provide in the community.

Our goal is to enable people to stay in their home, thereby decreasing the need for hospitalisation and medical visits.
