Invigor8ing Education is a supported, practical semester program for Year 8 students. It provides interactive participation in training and workplace environments and offers a practical applied learning option for small groups of students who need support with school engagement.
Students gain practical experience in hospitality, community services, and trades including painting and carpentry.
Invigor8ing Education aims to increase students’ awareness of vocational pathways while building transferable skills for education and workplace settings. It also helps students become more aware of their strengths, interests and capabilities, and supports them to apply their skills in real-life situations.
This program is delivered in partnership with HWLLEN, City of Whittlesea Youth Development and Y Epping.
