Youth services
What we do
Are you aged 8 to 25 and living, working, studying or socialising in the City of Whittlesea?
We're your Youth Services team.
We welcome young people from all backgrounds and abilities to get involved in everything we offer. We're here to support young people, youth groups, parents and carers and other agencies working with youth by:
- providing a wide range of opportunities for you to actively get involved in your community
- listening to and advocating for you
- working to understand your needs
- working to provide you with access to programs, information, support and services
- promoting a sense of connection, interest, safety and support
- always being interested to hear your ideas, needs and desires for your community.

Middle years (ages 8 to 12)
City of Whittlesea Youth Services supports young people aged 8–12 through a range of activities designed to build skills, confidence and connection. These include recreational activities and targeted programs such as the Transition to Secondary School Program.
Youth Services also delivers a series of parent seminars throughout the year, providing guidance and resources to help families support their children during the middle years.
Rainbow Tick accreditation
We're immensely proud to be Rainbow Tick accredited.
This accreditation helps us enhance the quality of services we provide to gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, gender diverse, trans, brother-boy, sister-girl, non-binary, intersex, queer and questioning (LGBTIQA+) people in terms of users, staff, and volunteers.
