Museums Victoria Robotics and Coding Workshop – Donnybrook
Next date: Tuesday, 07 July 2026 | 10:30 AM
to 11:45 AM
In this introductory workshop, discover how robots move, sense and respond their environment using mBot robots and iPads.
Working in pairs with a parent/carer, children will write instructions for their robot using block-based programming language, and use STEM skills such as problem solving, creativity and innovation to overcome a series of challenges. Can you program a self-driving car? Or dancing party robot? Or a sneaky snooping robot?
This workshop is the perfect way to step into the exciting world of robotics and coding, and explore future STEM careers.
It is designed for children aged 8 to 13, alongside a parent/carer, and is not suitable for younger children.
Bookings essential, limited tickets available.
This workshop is also running later in the day in Epping.
