Plant Propagation Workshop – Supporting Grassland Restoration

Next date: Friday, 27 March 2026 | 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Propagation workshop participants with trays of seedlings

Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to propagate indigenous plants while contributing to vital restoration efforts on the Darebin Creek.

Your propagated plants will help restore a Grassy Eucalypt Woodlands project site in Wollert – a degraded yet significant remnant of the critically endangered Grassy Eucalypt Woodlands ecosystem cared for by Wurundjeri Woi‑wurrung peoples for thousands of years.

This workshop also supports our partners at nugal biik plants and seeds, a social enterprise nursery that specialises in greater northern Melbourne’s indigenous flora and is dedicated to conservation and First Nations initiatives.

Registrations essential – limited places available.
