Youth events

Baseline For Young People is City of Whittlesea's Youth Services Team. Providing programs, events and projects that young people can get involved in. Our work has a prevention, early intervention and capacity building focus, and works with young people aged 10 to 25 years. Providing support and advocacy for the needs of young people, their rights, wellbeing and helping them see their full potential.

Regular Events

Chill Out @ Epping

Join in on the fun as we play games and activities over hot chocolate and toasties at Epping Community Centre.

Commencing Thursday 18 May, Chill Out @ Epping will happen every Thursday from 3.30pm - 5.30pm at Epping Community Centre, 378 Findon Road, Epping

This event is recommended for young people aged 12 to 18.

 

 

Youth Takeover Night

Hang out and connect with young people in the City of Whittlesea for an after hours event at Mill Park Library. 

Bring your crew or meet new friends as we play board games, virtual reality, watch a movie and more! Snacks will also be provided.

Our Youth Takeover Nights happen the second Friday of every month from 6 - 9pm at Mill Park Library, 394 Plenty Rd, Mill Park.

D&D Dungeons Club 

Expressions of interest

Calling all young adventurers! We're looking to host a monthly Dungeons and Dragons group for young people aged 10-25.

Explore epic fantasy worlds, battle fierce monsters, and make new friends along the way.

Whether you're a seasoned player or a complete newbie, our monthly gaming sessions will offer a safe and welcoming space to explore epic worlds and adventures.

Baseline for young people are looking for young talent to play at our upcoming Freeza Music Showcase or any future music concerts or events!

Baseline for Young People weekly programs

Mernda Games in the Park

Drop by Breadalbane Reserve in Mernda and join in the fun of Games in the Park!

Hosted by our friends at Reclink, we're taking over Bredalbane Reserve every Tuesday with basketball, soccer and volleyball.

There's something for everyone with games to get involved in and a chill out area for those who just want to hang out.

When: Tuesdays, 3 -4pm (weather permitting)

FreeZa

This is an exciting opportunity for young people aged 12 – 25 to plan and stage live events and learn skills in music, performance and production, event management, sound and lighting.

FReeZA is a Victorian Government initiative that supports young Victorians to get involved in their community by planning and running alcohol, drug, smoke and vape free events for other young people.
