Proposed Development Plan - Station Road Precinct, Mernda

A development plan has been prepared and submitted for consideration by Council.

The proposed Development Plan applies to 1470 Plenty Road, 1480 Plenty Road, 1490 Plenty Road, 1500 Plenty Road, 2 Station Road, 4 Station Road and 10 Station Road, Mernda.

The proposed Development Plan will guide the future use and development of land for residential purposes.

What does the proposed Development Plan do?

The preparation of a Development Plan is a statutory requirement in accordance with the Development Plan Overlay (Schedule 5). The Development Plan consists of both text and plan components and provides for a road layout and future development parcels.

Exhibition of the proposed Development Plan

As part of a non-statutory exhibition process, the proposed Station Road Development Plan is being referred to potentially affected property owners/occupiers and relevant Government agencies.

The Development Plan is being exhibited from 2 October 2023 to 30 October 2023.
