Support for pets of family violence victims
If you are a victim or survivor of family violence, you can get temporary accommodation for your pet to support you through this difficult time.
Your pet will either be cared for at wat djerring Animal Facility (formerly Epping Animal Welfare Facility) or in foster care for up to 3 weeks.
Your support worker can access the service on your behalf by contacting the Animal Management department on 03 9217 2170.

Domestic Animal Management Plan
Council is committed to providing temporary care of domestic animals owned by residents at risk of, or are experiencing family violence or other forms of crisis, including experiencing homelessness.
