Deadly Boorais and Deadly Families Program

The Deadly Boorais and Deadly Families Program is part of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander engagement services. The programs aim to support engagement and participation in the Maternal and Child Health Service.

The program includes a Yarning Circle and Drop-In Session. These provide extra opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families to connect and engage with our Maternal and Child Health Service.

The program supports access to all usual Maternal and Child Health services including Key Age Stage health visits and other supports as required, delivered in the family home or place of choice by family.

This MCH service has a focus on autonomy and choice for families, continuity of care with a small team of staff, and flexible appointment scheduling options.
