National Sorry Day 2026

National Sorry Day is held each year to commemorate the release of the Australian Human Rights Commission’s 1997 Bringing Them Home Report. 

Join Elders, community members and the City of Whittlesea to honour and respect the Stolen Generations with a commiseration ceremony featuring a guest speaker, a minute’s silence and the annual Sorry Walk. 

A light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
