bunjil nganga (meaning 'eagle view') Parkland, the largest parkland in the City of Whittlesea, and soon home to exciting new community spaces such as the Granite Hills Major Community Park and an Aboriginal Gathering Place, is set to become a rich and inspiring destination for our city following the endorsement of the future directions plan for the area.

This park has an area of 114 hectares. Its facilities include walking trails, rotundas, viewing platform with city views, natural bushland and grasslands, kangaroos, car parking.

The trails showcase the natural beauty of the parkland, as well as highlight its significance to the traditional owners of the land, the Wurundjeri Willum Clan.

The trails will also help break down some of the barriers preventing people from being physically active by being accessible to people of all ages.
