Free business mentoring and visitations

Small business advice service

Guiding Your Business is our free small business advice service to assist businesses registered in the City of Whittlesea.

The service provides confidential one-on-one sessions with highly skilled and experienced business mentors and is designed to help with:

  • business planning and growth
  • changes in and to your business
  • identifying goals

The one-hour sessions are held on the first Monday of each month at our Civic Centre offices.

Note: While the Guiding Your Business service is free, we do ask that you complete a short preliminary questionnaire before your meeting. The questionnaire aims to help us understand what type of information you need so the mentor can come prepared with the material and resources to support you.

You must book a session in advance, by calling our Jobs and Investment Department on 9217 2278.

Meetings on your premises

Our senior staff can visit your premises to discuss the issues affecting your business and the type of assistance you need to strengthen and grow your business, through our Visitation Program.

We hold these informal and confidential meetings on your premises to gain a solid understanding of your operations. Our aim is to help you resolve your business concerns. If we are unable to help, we will refer you on to other organisations who can.

To arrange a visit, call our Jobs and Investment Department on 9217 2278.
