City of Whittlesea rate payers are encouraged to make the move to digital notices, providing convenience, efficiency and accessibility to your rates notices.

With rates notices expected to be sent out in the coming weeks, rate payers can quickly and easily sign up to receive their notice electronically. It’s free to register and enables you to view and download your rates notice at any time.

Rate payers can also easily set up flexible interest free payment plans, allowing you to schedule direct debit payments in smaller, more frequent amounts to suit your budget. These can be weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly payments throughout the financial year.

Flexible payment plans can help community members who may be facing difficulties in making payments or who simply want to set up a regular payment schedule that suits their needs.

Council is committed to helping residents who may be experiencing genuine financial hardship, with a range of other options also available.

The recently updated Financial Hardship Policy outlines option including interest free payment plans, deferrals, waivers of interest and debt collection costs and assistance in connecting individuals with support services.

To register to receive your rates notices electronically, or to set up your flexible payment plan, visit the Rates section.
