HR Uren Recreation Reserve redevelopment
The pitch, pavilion and car park at HR Uren Recreation Reserve are being upgraded to provide the local soccer club and the community with facilities for training, matches and exercise.
What's happening?
The upgrade of HR Uren Recreation Reserve will be undertaken in stages.
Stage 1: New synthetic pitch
- FIFA approved pitch
- Concrete perimeter paths around the pitch
- Perimeter fencing including ball catching fences at both ends
- Bench seating between pitches for spectators
Stage 2: Pavilion and car park redevelopment
- Pavilion extension including social space and kitchen
- New first aid room
- Spectator viewing area
- Carpark upgrade and extension including lighting

Timelines
Construction of stage 2 works is expected to be completed in early 2024.
