City of Whittlesea’s FReeZA CREW Unveils Exciting Line-up for Westfield Event

The City of Whittlesea FReeZA Crew is thrilled to announce a stellar line-up of young, talented performers set to take the stage at the Westfield Plenty Valley outdoor dining precinct event on Friday 1 March 2024. This exciting showcase promises an unforgettable evening of music and entertainment.

Benny Gregs - Master of Ceremonies

Get ready to be charmed by our emcee, Benny Gregs. At just 21 years old, Benny is a multifaceted talent – an emcee, radio host, podcast host, performer, motivational speaker, TV producer & presenter, musician, and author. Having been featured in over 120 projects across Australia, Benny brings genuine warmth and professionalism beyond his years to every stage.

The Unforgettable Line-up includes:

6:10pm: Sandy Tran
Independent artist and vocal coach Sandy Tran, actively involved in the FReeZA crew and the City of Whittlesea’s Youth Council, aims to inspire with her passion for music.

6:25pm: Kleo Caplan
Melbourne polymath Kleo Caplan, a rapper and record producer, offers a genre-shifting experience with his debut EP "Lost In Translation" – a sonic journey on streaming platforms.

6:40pm: Molly Rose

Singer and songwriter Molly Rose from Mooroolbark crafts gorgeous melodies complementing her Americana & Blues styled voice. 

7:05pm: Lyla Digrazia
With over 30 musicals under her belt, Lyla is a maestro in the performing arts. Her recent song "Broken Bridge" showcases her incredible talent. 

7:25pm: Tom Ogutu
Known for his distinctive falsetto and funky pop retro vibe, singer Tom Ogutu brings a unique sound reminiscent of artists like Pharrell Williams, Prince, Maxwell, D'Angelo, and Thundercat.

7:45pm: Jack Carlson
Jake Carlson is a local singer and guitarist who enjoys playing a range of music genres, including blues, jazz, R&B and country tunes.

This event is part of the City of Whittlesea's FReeZA program, a State Government initiative that offers young people the chance to lead the planning and staging of music and cultural events. 

This event is alcohol, drug, smoke, and vape-free.
