Don’t miss your chance to make a real difference in your community!

The City of Whittlesea’s Community Leadership Program returns this October, with a course designed to equip individuals with the tools and knowledge to create a positive impact within their community.

Now into its second year, this free program is open to City of Whittlesea residents wanting to lead community projects, establish personal and professional connections and learn more about local government.

Epping resident Reshmy Radhamony, who serves as the Associate Nurse Unit Manager at Austin Health and holds the position of Justice of the Peace, can now proudly add 'Community Leadership Program graduate' to her list of accomplishments after recently completing the program.

Reshmy saw the Community Leadership Program on LinkedIn and quickly realised it was an excellent opportunity to elevate her career.

"When I initially enrolled in the program, I didn’t know what community leadership covered. But I have now been able to apply the theory to both my professional and personal life,” Reshmy said.

"If you want to make an impact in the community, I'd definitely recommend the Community Leadership Program.”

The Community Leadership Program offers a comprehensive curriculum, with a mix of both online and in-person sessions, with a focus on developing practical skills, increasing your knowledge of local government and learning more about your own leadership style.

If you are passionate about cultivating leadership skills, fostering meaningful connections, and discovering how to apply these skills to everyday life, then this program is your gateway to making a significant difference.

Expressions of interest for the upcoming Community Leadership Program are now open. Applications will close Tuesday 26 September.
