The City of Whittlesea is hosting a free event aimed at demonstrating a range of new and emerging technologies and solutions for weed management.

City of Whittlesea Chair Administrator Lydia Wilson said the event aimed to lay the foundation for a sustainable future.

“This event embraces innovation to help create a future where cutting-edge technologies safeguard our crops and biodiversity. We are excited to see the community learn from a range of wonderful exhibitors,” Lydia said.

Attendees will hear from Acacia Environmental Management, Singleshot  Agriculture, Dronespray, Two Girls and their Goats and the City of Whittlesea’s Rural Environment team.

After presentations and demonstrations, there will be time for a Q&A with the expert panel followed by a barbecue.
