Get ready to jingle and mingle at the City of Whittlesea's Carols by Candlelight

The City of Whittlesea is gearing up for a night of festive cheer with Carols by Candlelight back and ready to light up the night with a magical evening of music and fun.

The star of the show, Santa Claus himself, is taking a break from his busy workshop to sprinkle some holiday magic at this family-friendly event.

“Ho Ho Ho, I’m getting ready to jingle all the way at the City of Whittlesea’s Carols by Candlelight. I can’t wait to rock around the Christmas tree and sing-along to some of my favourite songs with you,” Santa said.

This year's event is jam-packed with exciting activities and heart-warming performances for the whole family to enjoy, including the sounds of the Diamond Valley Brass Band, who will serenade the crowd with beloved traditional carols. Joining them will be the talented Community Carols Choir, composed of 60 dedicated City of Whittlesea community members.

Chair Administrator Lydia Wilson expressed her excitement for the event, emphasising the community spirit and holiday magic.

“Christmas is a special time for many in our community. Coming together for festivities like this not only unites family and friends but also strengthens community connections and spirit.”

Mark your calendar for Friday 15 December, 6pm to 9pm and head down to the City of Whittlesea’s Civic Centre Lawns located at 25 Ferres Blvd, South Morang. It's a night you won't want to miss!

This event is free and includes many family activities, a twilight market for those last-minute Christmas gift needs and a whole lot of singing.
