The City of Whittlesea is excited to be supporting the 164th Whittlesea Show.

The Whittlesea Show takes place this weekend promising show goers two days filled with family-friendly activities and country fun.

Acting Chair Administrator Peita Duncan said the City of Whittlesea was pleased to be supporting this community tradition again this year as a major sponsor.

“The Whittlesea Agricultural Society is one of the oldest agricultural societies in Victoria and the two-day annual show is a highlight in the local calendar,” Peita said.

“Not only will it showcase agriculture, farming and rural knowledge to the wider community, this year’s show offers attractions and activities for everyone,” Peita said.

“The City of Whittlesea is proud to support events like this through our new community grants program and I would like to congratulate all the volunteers involved in organising and supporting the show each year.”

This year’s Whittlesea Show will feature an exciting line-up of activities, including Eroni’s Circus, Stilt Divas, roving performers, show jumping, and much more.

Visitors can also enjoy a diverse selection of delicious local produce at the Food Expo or be transported back in time at the Heritage Pavilion where historic farming practices and captivating blacksmith demonstrations can be found.

The Whittlesea Show is on 4 and 5 November 2023 from 9am until 5pm at the Whittlesea Showgrounds, Yea Road, Whittlesea.
