Celebrating Seniors Festival in the City of Whittlesea

From free golf lessons to dance classes, movies to music, there's something for everyone to enjoy during the 2023 Victorian Seniors Festival.

The City of Whittlesea is excited to be taking part in the month-long celebration recognising the contributions of seniors in our community.  

Throughout October, senior residents in the City of Whittlesea can look forward to getting out and getting active, while meeting new people and catching up with old friends through a range of exciting activities.

City of Whittlesea’s Chair Administrator, Lydia Wilson encouraged seniors to get involved and invite their friends to join in the festivities.

“With the heart-warming theme of "Learn, Love, Live," the Victorian Seniors Festival promises to be a month of engaging, fun-filled activities and connections.” 

“It's an open invitation to all senior residents to connect, engage, and experience new adventures, all while making memories with friends, old and new.”

This year’s Festival program is designed to provide accessible and welcoming spaces and activities for everybody to take part in both locally and across Victoria.

The City of Whittlesea is proud to be part of this state-wide initiative, supported by the Victorian Government.
